Rates & Services: Full Time Training & Board

Full Time Training and Board $1250


  • Five training rides per week (Training rides may include, lounging, ground driving, sacking out, round pen work, trail work, or outdoor hacks.)

  • Blanketing/unblanketing

  • Bathing

  • Daily Turn-out (even in winter)

  • Horses fed three times a day: Eastern Oregon Orchard Mix along with Alfalfa

  • Daily stall cleaning

  • Fly predators for max fly control

  • High quality grain- 

  • Purina Equitub

Part Time Training & Board – $750

  • Three training rides per week (Training rides may include, lounging, ground driving, sacking out, round pen work, trail work, or outdoor hacks)

  • Blanketing/Unblanketing (flysheets too)

  • Bathing

  • Daily turn-out (even in winter)

  • Horses fed three time a day —Eastern Oregon Orchard Mix along with Alfalfa, complete grain

  • Daily stall cleaning

  • Local show/per day: $65 + plus show fees

  • Rated show/per day: $65 + plus show fees

  • Trace clip: $65

  • Body clip: $100

  • Full body clip: $150

Training & Lessons

Here at Riding with Class, Crysta Awtry offers a full range of services of offer you: boarding your horse, training your horse, and riding instruction in a variety of styles and seats. Our goal is to keep our costs affordable, especially in today’s recession marketplace. Horse time should be therapeutic time, time spent revitalizing your body and soul — not something that places a further strain on your pocketbook!

The small and intimate setting of Riding with Class with Crysta Awtry allows us to concentrate on your horse’s health first! Riding With Class is not a “big box” type of show barn, with many riders contending for arena time. There is a good mix of eventers, hunters, jumpers, and pleasure riders who range from newbies, to intermediate, to the competitive rider. We feel that all horses and riders have something to learn from one another. We WELCOME people from all walks of life. We do not discriminate by breed or discipline. We are proud to teach riding lessons in the Eugene/ Junction city area.

Rates & Services: Riding Instruction!

Riding lessons with Crysta Awtry are a standard rate of $45/lesson. 


 Additional discounts for OHSET & 4H students are available. Please ask as well regarding gift packages!


Lessons are an hour long, and the student will learn proper horsemanship from the ground up, starting with how to groom, saddle, and bridle their horse.


Lesson packages available at $200 for 5 lessons, and $395 for ten lessons.
